Coat-of-Arms

Lesser Royal Arms

[Lesser Royal Arms 1930-1931 (Spain)]
by Luis Miguel Arias

Detail of the coat-of-arms (lesser royal arms) on the royal standard for use on army vehicles. Note that, unlike on the naval royal standard, this arms only show the territorial arms (Castile, Leon, Aragon, Navarre and Granada) instead of the whole dinastical arms. Note also that the inescutcheon lacks the red bordure of the Anjou dinasty, thus being the arms of France (Azure three fleurs-de-lys Or).
